This is a process analysis about how to produce a music video. I’ll attach the outline and instructions. The writing is supposed to be creative, descriptive but also informative. I went ahead and wrote the intro and only a part of the background history. You can kindly work on the rest, please refer to the outline I’ll attach. I’ll also upload two samples for reference. This is what I wrote so far:

Every music producer began as a fan, and before you ever had the burning desire to create an audiovisual masterpiece, you were exposed to a music video that made you dream with your eyes wide open. The song alone tells a tale, but the video forces you to delve deeper into that story. I believe that all humans were created, therefore we will always have an insatiable desire to create and materialize our inner world for all to see. This can be accomplished in a variety of ways, including sculpting, drawing, writing, and composing, but creating a music video is a unique journey that requires you to transport the viewer into your mind and how you experienced the song. It’s almost like painting; the sketching process includes conceptualizing the tale, storyboarding, selecting a location, and casting the actors, whereas the painting process includes directing, filming, and editing. We’ll concentrate on the sketching process, as well as how to plan out your video so that it’s ready for the paint.

Before diving deep into the process, let’s talk about how and when music videos began. To start off, they were never called music videos, to begin with. That term didn’t start circulating until the 80s. Prior to that, they were called by various names, but that’s not important right now. Let’s go back in time, to the very first music video, or should I say “illustrated song”. That’s when a dude named George Thomas merged music and displayed visual pictures to amuse a crowd for the first time. “Using a magic lantern, Thomas projected a series of still images on a screen simultaneous to live performances. This would become a popular form of entertainment known as the illustrated song, the first step toward music video.” (The First Illustrated Song, First Step toward the Music Video, 2014)
