Copying and Pasting

a)    A detailed research report (in research paper format) with abstract, introduction, literature review, methodology or description of algorithms, results and discussion, conclusion, references and appendix in separate chapters.
b)    Separately attach the computer programs developed with output with your test runs.

How the project will be evaluated:
i.    Authentication:  The most important of all is it has to be your own study and not finding any duplicity from another student. Also must cite whatever articles you are using to understand and implement the algorithm.

ii.    Quality of the report: The language should be your own, and should not look like you are copying and pasting only. It is ok to use other people’s work, but you need to describe them in your own words. It is very important that you have a section called literature survey, where you are going to talk about the work by other researchers (as long as they are published articles). Cite them as below:
Say there is an author whose last name is Johnson, then while citing, you write (Johnson, 2004). If 2004 is the year work was published.

iii.    Detailed information required. In particularly the algorithm implemented must be clearly stated, you can demonstrate by illustrating giving an example

iv.    Developing the code in C++, and make sure, there is no compilation error and runs with some valid data. Program should be written in a generalized fashion, so that any kind of graph can be fed to the code. The program’s input and outputs must be attached. The program must be submitted as a text file, not typed in MS word. Use notepad, to copy and paste your program and save as a .cpp file. It is important that I should be able to run your program files. If you have multiple program files, you can zip them, and give to me, as long as I can extract the files.

This work is given to boost your score, and it is not mandatory to do this work, but you wont get any extra credit. The quality of the work along with how much effort you put will be looked at for the points you will score from this work. So, don’t want to simply submit anything by copying from some website.
