Before starting to work on the paper, please read the following instructions carefully.

Helpful Hints for a successful paper
1. Have valid sources
Credible academic sources including peer-reviewed journals and texts (see Notes section below). Wikipedia and most internet sites are not credible sources.
2. Keep sources organized
Helpful hint: cue cards with notes and sources work well
3. Answer all of the questions you ask
The central and supplemental questions noted in your proposal should work.
4. Structure (flow)
Include headings (Introduction, Discussion, Conclusion, and References)
This is an APA style paper, therefore, it must be a formal presentation (no pictures, no slang, and, heaven forbid, no plagiarism)
5. Discussion section should answer the 5 W’s
(Who, what, when, where, why) This is also the section where you can present your statistics to give the reader a good understanding of the extent of the problem or issue.
6. Revision
Read over twice and have someone else read it. Punctuation and spell check are very important.
7. Get an ample amount of information, then cut down if necessary.
