Overprotective Black Mother

For my class we had to make a wikipedia page or add to it. My group chose Madea. So I added citation number 17 which has to be used. My topic was about how black femininity is portrayed within these films. The characters who can be black men dressed in women’s clothing and even played by black women themselves but written by black men (Tyler Perry) target black women by perpetuating stereotypes and roles such as a desperate house wife or a crazy overprotective black mother. That is what the paper needs to be about, very detailed.
