Health Care Settings

The focus on this section of the project will be the microsystems and mesosystems that have influence on the family.
The Microsystem
For this section, you are exploring the innermost circle of the Bronfenbrenner
ecological system.  This is the circle that contains the parts of the family and
community systems that most directly touch the child.  Be sure to find out the
following: (1) members of the family, (2) extended family, (3) where they live, (4)
where they go to school/childcare, (5) their neighborhood and relationships with
neighbors, (6) religious settings, and (7) health care settings.
The Mesosystem
For this section, you are exploring the relationships between the seven elements
of the microsystem.  How do the various parts of the microsystem interact?  For
example, do the family’s religious beliefs impact their choice of a school or child
care environment?  Does where they live impact their choice of health care?  You
need to include at least six such interactions between elements of the
